an immersive pavilion

Step into a space where bamboo bends, stories unfold, and heritage becomes living design.

Kunj is an architectural expression of Mianzi’s philosophy. A modular, interactive installation crafted entirely from hand-bent bamboo, this space celebrates the ingenuity of Indian artisans while inviting visitors to engage, observe, and belong.

crafted by hand. designed for experience.

Inspired by organic forms in nature, the pavilion’s sweeping curves and soaring arches rise like sculptural canopies—sheltering, revealing, guiding. Each module is handmade by rural artisans in Madhya Pradesh, using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. Every surface is a conversation between hand and material, utility and beauty.

a space that tells a story

Display ledges emerge from the structure, seamlessly holding handcrafted decor, lamps, and objects.
Embedded workstations allow artisans to create live on-site, transforming craft into performance.
Sunken seating and pathways encourage movement, pause, and interaction.
Natural planters and soft lighting weave nature into the spatial experience.

Designed for exhibitions, retail showcases, craft fairs, and design weeks, the pavilion adapts effortlessly to indoor and outdoor environments. Its modularity allows it to expand, contract, and reconfigure—making it as versatile as the bamboo it is born from.

Every curve, knot, and weave tells a story of sustainable innovation and cultural continuity. Kunj is where the soul of rural India meets the precision of design thinking—where viewers become participants, and objects become storytellers.
